The chap sitting opposite me on the train is wearing a specialized helmet – backwards.

    WWSTWD?

    Politely tell him?

    Point and laugh?

Say nothing & continue to chuckle to myself?

Introduce myself as he’s probly one of you lot?

It’s not me, I’m at my fave pub.

Point and laugh, seems like the only option.

His helmet is on correctly. You’re laughing at someone who was born with their face on backwards. You should feel ashamed of yourself.

Probably as useful as wearing a polystyrene hat on a bicycle.

On a slightly more serious note.

Reminds me of the other day when I spotted a chap in the supermarket wearing a bell helmet, the type I had in 1992. It was yellowing through age and had a massive crack in it covered up by a strip of duct tape.

I kinda felt I should tell him that that’s not going to really help in a crash.. But apathy took hold and I didn’t
