Thinking about getting a Fox DPX2 performance that was taken from an Orange Alpine, my bike is a transition patrol. Will it work ok, or will it be set up specifically for a single pivot? The shock doesn’t have the 10 compression settings in open mode.

Use this to see what tune code it has now.

Ask transition what rebound/compression tune they recommend (I think it will be m/m as I just got a s/h dpx2 from a patrol with that tune)

You may want to get fox to retune it

Or at least see what spacers you could swap depending on the leverage

The code says it’s from an Orange Alpine. CM (compression medium, I assume), RM (rebound medium) and then rezi mfm whatever that means. Also says 0.6 spacer.

I got a reply from Transition saying I need the ML tune. Rebound being L, so guess L stands for light. Guess already being a light rider I’d have the rebound knob fully open and it would still be too slow.
