  • Shock bushes for a 2008 patriot?

    Noticed some play in the shock last night

    Can anyone tell me what I need to buy and where from, never replaced them before

    depends on the shock not the bike, Fox, Manitou of 5th? Have a look at TF/MOJO/LOCO/LBS

    If it’s a Fox, the bushing code is 08DU08, available from your local bearing factor for about £1 odd each.
    The expensive bit would come if the alluminium top-hats that the bushing mount on are also worn. Don’t worry about that until you’ve changed the DU bushed first though. If it’s still sloppy then you need replace that too.

    Tf tuned also do the low friction kits which do away with top hats and don’t need any tools to fit. You’d still need to bodge something to get the old du’s out but as they’re done anyway that shouldn’t be a problem
