  • Shimming Centre Lock Rotors?

I think I already know the answer to this but I’ll ask just in case…

I’ve got two sets of wheels for my bike and they have slightly different hubs. When I swap wheels I never need to adjust the gears at all but I always need to re-centre the brakes.

Is it possible to shim Centre Lock rotors at all so I don’t have to adjust the brakes every time?

Not sure you can, maybe try different rotors? Not sure if all centre lock rotors are the same dimensions.

Don’t see why you couldn’t put a shim washer on before the rotor – trouble would be finding some the right size – I went for easier option of using exact same hubs and rotors for my spare wheels

I thought it might be a problem.
I’ll get hold of some different rotors and see how they match up.

depends on how much you want to move the rotor ?
the paper thin ones under some cassette lock rings might work ?
got shimano and hunt wheels and don’t need to re center the brakes !
