    I have just received a second hand mech and it has new fancy cartridge alu jockey wheels. The thing is, the top one has no float. Is this normal for a shadow mech? Will it make it hard to set up the shifting?

    I will be running it with a 9sp thumbie with a barrel adjuster btw.
