    As long as you buy a HTII compatible one, you’re fine. I’ve bought one with the long tabs too, so you’re not on your own! They can be filed down to go over the BB, get cracking with the dremel!

    Yup – here too. Certain mail order companies don’t actually warn you they won’t fit which doesn’t help.

    As above though, a bit of judiscious filing will sort it.

    It was knocking about from ages ago in the bottom of the toolbox. As I was changing the chain and cassette I thought I’d stick these spare rings on too.

    It took a little while to realise why twatting it with a mallet wouldn’t send the axle all the way through 😳

    Anyone not running HTII need some new rings?!
