Need some new shoes and been looking at some of the new shimano shoes available in ‘wide’ sizes. Has anyone tried them? If so how do they compare to standard width shoes (in the same size). Normal has always seemed ok for me but I do have wide feet so wondering if the change is worth it.

A few years ago Shimano shoes fitted me perfectly in the size I would normally take. Then they changed the fit and I had to start going up a size or they would be to narrow across the toes. I had wondered if I’d be able to go back to my normal size but in the wide fitting…I haven’t got particulary wide feet though.
Do Chain Reaction or Wiggle not have any on stock? They do free returns if they’re no good.
