I have some xt m775 levers paired with xtr m965 calipers. When i pull the lever it moves very little before full brake lock on – its like the lever moves through hardly any of its travel not even using the servowave design. Is there a way of setting these up so the pads retract further from the disc and I can get more travel out of the lever?

Isn’t there a freestroke screw on XT brakes? That should mean you can put it further through the lever throw, so you pull more lever before the brakes come on.
