  • sending emails to 100 people, how without everyone seeing everyones addresses?

I’ve done a survey for my roller derby league, and I need to send the response to everyone, but I don’t want everyone to see everyone else’s email addresses for privacy reasons.

I’m running mail from a mac, if I I copy the addresses into the BCC would that work?

    bcc is fine.

or make a named list with them all in and email it to that.

BCC being blind carbon copy , as in no one sees each other on the email and reply to all only comes to the sender.

As others BCC, and if your mail mandates putting someone in the To or CC field just put yourself in.

Or you could try http://mailchimp.com/ (free for low volume)

Mailchimp is a good shout – some (particularly free, personal) mail providers can get funny about sending mails with large numbers of BCCed addresses, and some recipients’ spam filters will incorrectly flag it if you’re one of hundreds of people BCCed.
