The time has come to get shot of one of my bikes and unfortunately, my full suss is going to have to go. My hardtail is fine for 95% of the riding I do – the full suss is my Alps bike, but I didn’t go last year, can’t go this year and may not go next year either so just sitting there…

My question is: would I be better off selling it whole, or breaking it down and selling parts separately? Obviously selling it whole would probably be quicker but I’m guessing I could get a bit more if I break it down? It’s a YT, so the components alone were originally worth more than the complete bike.

What are people experiences when it comes to selling parts versus completes?
