    New computer and all that, desktop went with a bang so purchased a MacBook Pro, so downloaded a movie from tinternet, simples but does anyone recommend any software that can convert to a Mac format, free of course and with out any watermarking once converted

    Why do you need to convert it? VLC Media Player will play pretty much anything.

    i assume you mean you downloaded a torrent movie and quicktime won’t play it? if thats the case just get something that will play it.

    Download vlc which will play most things or get the perian plug-in for quicktime
