I’m looking for a 2nd set of hoops for my CX bike, tubeless is a must as is being under £400.

I’ve been looking at what’s out there and I was heading towards a pair of Alex CDX4 but the Scribes popped up on my timeline and the Race D look very interesting, they seem to tick all the boxes, wide’ish internal, tubeless, under £400 and also nice an light.

I’m 78kg in winter race trim so weight isn’t an issue.

Any long term views on the Scribes?

I’m running a set of Pace road rim brake wheels on the summer road bike. Happy with them – light, well finished/detailed and they have taken a few potholes without flinching. The freehub is a fair bit louder than a DT Swiss ratchet – not for the shy and retiring!
