I see Planet X are doing some good prices on Schwalbe tyres and i need some new ones for my upcoming trip…but…

…i’ve never used them before so, what are Albert snakeskins like? Blurb says good for shale tracks which makes me think they are a trail-centre-specific tyre.

    Trail centre specific? Eh?

Alberts are great all-rounders; mud, rocks, loose etc. The snakeskin sidewalls mean they last forever. A bargain at £15 a tyre. At that price they are hard to beat.

Cool, the blurb on the website had me thinking otherwise. Time for a spending session then 🙂

    Oh, another question for someone.

‘Albert’ Vs ‘Fat Albert’ sizing, is there a difference between them for a given size of 2.25″?

Also, how big are the 2.4″ sizes? ‘Cos Conti 2.4’s are bloomin’ huge!
