Is the pivot supposed to look like this on the non drive side. i.e. only a bolt on the drive side? 2012 frame.

RD – does this photo help?

That looks like there’s no bolt on one end of that pivot. (i.e. The pivot is only threaded into the swing arm and then the silver part (bottom left) goes into the split end of the pivot to stop it rotating. That’s the way it works on my Blur)

cheers Druidh, i looked at pics of the swingarm and they all seemed the same, last time i had a single pivot (orange 5) it had 2 bolts, panic over!

For what it’s worth, I have a 2008 frame, and it has no bolt on the drive side, and a bolt on the non-drive side.

Suspect that it probably doesn’t matter which way round the pivot and bolt go, but maybe give SC a shout? I wanted to check shock dimensions a couple of weeks ago, and posted a question on their Facebook page – they answered within a day.
