Saw one of these in Nirvana Cycles this afternoon:

It was ‘if you have to ask, you can’t afford it’ expensive. £3200 for frame only. Titanium front, carbon rear.

Some overpaid banker will buy it, to mince around a trail centre once per year, no doubt.

Personally, I don’t like it, so even if I had £3K burning a hole in my pocket, I wouldn’t buy it..

I think I’m with you xiphon but’s nice to have seen one.

I said to the chap in the shop that you’d have to be sh*t hot on a bike to get away with riding something like that!

Have seen an original CR7, it was prettier and cooler.

I don’t really see the point of having a Ti and carbon fs?

Ti is springy right and carbon is stiff right. I suspect that that combination of ti and carbon would present the riding characteristics of a wet noodle.

    Rigid SS FTW.

I would expect that tiny swingarm pivot to play a bigger part in making it ride like a wet noodle.

You can tell you have a small child geetee, as the spelling is poo. However you were clearly thinking of ‘Winnie’ 🙂

P.S. That frame looks pale lilac.

Titanium frames are only “springy” if you build them that way! 🙄

Likewise, carbon is only stiff if the tubes are woven that way.

As for the bike…I can’t help but think it’s a little under-designed given the price and the manufacturer.

Got one of its bog-standard aluminium predecessors – brilliant bike.

Not so shiny these days though.

I have the FTM Exogrid version, its an excellent bike and doesn’t handle like a wet noodle!
