I’m using Excel 2003 and want to save out some charts as bitmap images. I know that I can use the save as html option which saves out the charts as .gif or .png (depending on options set) but the quality of these images is pretty poor, text is particularly manky, despite setting 120 pixels per inch in the options and and a large screen resolution.

Is there any other way that I can create decent bitmap images of Exel 2003 charts (I’m going to try a screen grabber program too)?

Press ‘Print Screen’ and then paste it into an image editting application like ‘paint’. Crop, save as .bmp

or print to pdf and embed the pdf into your doc. Google Cutepdf. Free and good.
