Am coming up to ride in the Peaks next weekend and some one mentioned a rumour that some of the trails around Derwent had been sanitised with HArdcore so just trying to find out so can plan ride accordingly…

    Thanks in advance :O)

It's just bits and bobs, nothing major enough to justify re-routing owt.

The downhill to the Hagg Side car park has been resurfaced, and is now a gravelly fireroad affair. Hopefully this will return to its former glory after a winters use.

Over towards edale, the singletrack on the side of mam tor has been widened and flattened out, and also the short climb to rushup edge.

    Thats all I know of…?

The bottom of the screaming mile has been covered in loose stone and it **** scary when you hit it at 30mph+.

Yeah, I forgot about that. It's a vile climb as well now, very easy to spin out at the bottom.
