Not that bothered about the bike. But can I be the first to say: Best. Shed. Ever.Posted 7 years ago
you’ll have a road bike yet!Posted 7 years ago
Dropbar MTB’s rock. 🙂
Though latex gloves are a bit sinister. 😆Posted 7 years ago
nice vid there, man. Good stuffPosted 7 years ago
Great work shop, far too organised, and a great cider.
Packing my Fargo right now for a trip around northern France. D day beaches, cafes and bars…. And sun, please let there be sun .
Great video.Posted 7 years ago
Lovely video! Awful choice of tipple, though! 😉Posted 7 years ago
Very cool video and I love that build! Looks comfy and fast. I want one.Posted 7 years ago
You have a sofa AND a park stool!!…..bastidPosted 7 years ago
just not sure how it will deal with the Peak.
It’d be fine. 🙂Posted 7 years ago
Great video! Really enjoyed that. Proper garage and bike fettling (check your tools!) and lovely part of the world to cycle in. I stopped off for a couple of nights to see some friends “glamping” in funny Norwegian wooden tent things and really liked the area. Perfect Sunday night video…
Oh and its revived my drop bar 29er obsession too 😕Posted 7 years ago
Al i have a road bike but don`t use it much, far too fast
2002 vintage, never heard of them before but it was free 🙂
Stu; canny beat some latex 😉
Andy; Harvest Moon Glamping is right behind that track at 3 mins on the film, they don`t mention the pig farm right next door! 😆
Headsup; 5ft 11″ 32″ leg, medium frame with 100mm stem 🙂Posted 7 years ago
You’re buggered on the weather front. Charlie. Sorry!Posted 7 years ago
ace 🙂Posted 7 years ago
How do you find it compared to your Karate Monkey if you were running the same tyres? (if that makes sense!)Posted 7 years ago
Liking both your choice of cider and bike, I enjoy both myself.Posted 7 years ago
likePosted 7 years ago
Wow. Got my (2nd hand, mk1) frame last week. Can’t wait to get the bits together and get it rolling.Posted 7 years ago
andyh2; the bike is very similar to the KM and it is the wheels/tyres originaly fitted to that bike. headtube is higher for the drop bars and riding on the hoods is real comfy, and feels quicker on the road with the drops into a breeze 🙂Posted 7 years ago
I dont want to hijack this with sales nonsense, but salsa are clearing the 2012 Fargo, making room for 2013… So I have dropped the price by a fair old whack. Here is the Link.Posted 7 years ago
great film, glad I clicked playPosted 7 years ago
Very jealous of both man cave the the riding you down there. You’re just down the road, but those east Lothian beaches are just superb.
Charlie, can I get a fist bump for sending Joe from Norway to you for his Fargo? 😀Posted 7 years ago
Me likey. How is it on bumpier stuff, roots, rocks, that sort of thing?Posted 7 years ago
Cracking vid, nice music.. Good times.Posted 7 years ago
But, the statue towards the end- was that a woman that had just given birth…Er?
Love my Fargo (the 1st generation rigid only version). Did a 47 mile ride today and it’s just sooo comfy. Big Apple 2.35 tyres make for an awesome ride. Salsa Bell Lap bars are great as well. No having to look out for potholes as it ploughs through anything in its way.
Headtubes a bit fugly to some on my XXL but i love it.Posted 7 years ago
Squidlord running 55 psi yest but with pressures dropped it should be fine on rougher stuff, i will find out soon 🙂
That statue is of poet James Hogg – The Ettrick ShepherdPosted 7 years ago
Thats a collie dog underneath him 🙂
Headsup… I will check what’s available in the morning.Posted 7 years ago
The frames are cream, come with cream forks, but I could swap those out for black.
The one bike I truly miss!!!Posted 7 years ago
Would buy another tomorrow if I could!
nice video 🙂Posted 7 years ago
Nice bike and a very nice video too 8)Posted 7 years ago
Love the video, that’s the sort riding I do on my Van Dessel. Just would be nice to have your countryside on my doorstep. What do you think of the twin rails?.Posted 7 years ago
The twin rails are a bit heavy esp with stans juice also in the tubes but they roll very well. They are ideal for winter here where i will be mostly commuting then riding rough roads and gravel tracks. will not be near much deep mud on them.Posted 7 years ago
They give a real comfy ride with the big volume 🙂
Great bikes. I love mine. It just makes me smile every time I ride it. 😀Posted 7 years ago
v v v v nice
currently converting my 93 kona to that sort of thing – midge bars, bar end shifters, 700c wheels, longer forkPosted 7 years ago
Nice vid and nice bike. I nealy bought a Fargo but went for a Gryphon instead, I don’t think there’s too much between them. Superb for that kind of stuff, just getting out there and riding 😀Posted 7 years ago
Great bike, love mine.Posted 7 years ago
