Apart from weight what are the differences between rail materials and why would you choose one over the other?

I’m looking at the Ergon saddles and they come with CroMo or TiNox which weigh in at 20g difference. Other than that the saddles are identical.

Any reason for paying the exrtra for TiNox?

    Ti is lighter, that’s it.

20g is equal to just under 7 Malteasers.

    Get the cheaper one.

The weight of 7x Maltesers or the weight you put on as a result of eating 7x Maltesers?

What if you take them with you, and eat them throughout the ride?

If there was an answer to that, then Ergon would have thought of it but….
