Allo runners what do you use to record the miles you are running?
I currently use “good run guide. co .uk” but it is a bit of a pain and not sure how accurate it is.

    Cheers
    Rob.

mapmyrun.com and excel combined, depending how geeky I’m feeling with the stats.

Google Pedometer is pretty good if you can remember/ know which route you’re running. Add up the miles in Excel or similar.

If you want a new gadget, get yourself a GPS tracker. Garmin’s Forerunner watches are great, but there are probably cheaper solutions if you need them

I use an Android app called Endomondo (actually the ‘pro’ version – though I’m not convinced it’s worth the extra over the free version). Although last time I used when running home from work it thought I was heading west from near Shrewsbury towards the Welsh border, it also thought I ran 13+miles miles in under 35 minutes… (I actually work/live in North Yorks) – probably a phone issue as I was getting too cold standing around waiting for my phone to get a GPS fix so just set off. I use the same app for tracking mtb and road rides too and the app automatically upload them to the website (which I think is pretty similar to the Garmin Connect one iirc)

    Mostly
    http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/sporttracks/ and a garmin 310xt

Though the stuff also ends up on garmin connect (which blows goats) by default.

I used to use http://www.runningfreeonline.com/ for lots of exciting graphs.

Endomondo, but as above can be a pain in the ass when the stupid thing just sits waiting for a satellite fix under a perfect cloudless sky…

Serious question – what are you all doing with these records of your runs?

Endomondo. Though other alternatives are available.

Don’t really do much with the data, it’s more of a nerdy “isn’t that cool” kind of thing.

    Ascent by http://www.montebellosoftware.com/ . I’ve 4 years worth of data. It’s addictive.
