What is it with me and Fox RP23’s?

With the exception I one that i didn’t ride very much, every single one I’ve owned has gone faulty. This time the symptom are:

Loss of about 10mm of travel – when new it would use all of its travel, now the o-ring is always about 10mm away from where it used to be.

Reduced rebound damping except when wound in to 2 clicks from fully closed.

When off the bike, If I push down on the saddle the shock is extremely easy to compress for the 1st 7mm of its travel, then feels normal.

Feels a bit harsh – almost like packing down on fast rough descents, which is making my feet bounce off the pedals.

There’s been no fluid loss, no air loss, and it’s cleaned after every ride (which is more than can be said about the rest of the bike).

Any ideas?
