SlimJim you need to Google slam 69 bike shop in Gloucester for the smokestone bike they specialise in all things fat and are now making there own bikes . I looked at the tusker aswell its a nice bike but non where available when I wanted one infact it seemed all the bikes I liked where out of stock and the felt came up first and to be fare I love the thing

Divenwob – drop me an email if it’s ok to try out your Tusker for fit please, it looks as though a small batch of Raw may have been put back into stock..
They’re using the 2016 frames now. There appears to be a small difference in the internal routing outlets, assuming the 2015 pictures are accurate. There are 4 holes in the front, but only 3 out back. That puts a dampener on any 2×10 plans I had.
That means it’ll be half that time..so 5 weeks ain’t bad….you’ll get the bike after Crimbo !!
If I wanted something that bad ..I wouldn’t let a small thing like colour get in my way….ill just pimp the frame up after a while to the colour I want
TBH …I did like the charcoal Tusker…..I wasn’t to cool on the green in it…but then I could have lived with it….as it would be covered in dirt now!!….lol
I know what you mean, and I have nearly clicked the button on the grey version but it’s really just quite an awful looking paint scheme, IMO. Plus I’ve always loved raw frames, seems like a no brainier to wait. Just need the bloody thing to fit!

Just saw that OO have reduced their Hesperus by £200, that’s possibly the only other model I’d lean towards in the same price range
I had a go on Divenwobs Tusker, really liked it but didn’t take the plunge in the end. Picked up a Dune Calibre last month and have been loving it so far – although have thrown a few upgrades at it since purchase.
Still must catch up with you for that Swinley ride Divenwob!
