Am thinking about getting one of these in the current sales season – does anyone have one and whats it ride like ?
Its either this one or the Bird Aeris which has more suspension and is a bit more local to me which is nice. not sure i need the extra suspension or not – am a weekend warrior mostly riding in wales like at penmachno or the marin or going south for afan also do a bit of non trail centre riding just out on the hills. not in to extreme downhill, more trail and XC – red and some black routes at trail centres.
    Views or advice anyone?
    cheers

Have this years thunderbolt 799 frame set built up with 130 pikes, 1×10, reynolds carbon wheels etc
a very capable machine, given a real workout on dartmoor today on the more gnarly terrain,
excellent climber to, as a mid travel do it all trail bike a good bet.

Is that the carbon one? Mate sells them and there are big differences between the carbon and alu frames with the carbon being much better. Apart from that fun little bike

    I’ve never ridden one though.
