Looking at forks for a 29er, singletrack duties. Reasonably light build. I need a std steerer so struggling to find any good deals – bike.de has Rebas at about £312 Vs SIDs RCT3 at £400. Are the SIDs worth the extra … once I get them set up, I’ll generally not fiddle too much so reliability, weight, smoothness key.

    Any views?

Personaly I’d go with Rebas as I’ve heard a few stories of SID lowers bending.

    IMHO not worth it.
Bought this Reba RLT with maxle lite for my Inbred 29er a few weeks ago.

Rebas. I bent my sids. Switched to rebas and haven’t looked back. I do a similar sort of riding to you by the sounds of it.

Are they not the same chassis now?.

Been running my Revs at 120 on my Titus Evo and pondering switching to revs. However the minefield of info on weights and which can be adapted to 120mm has left me still guessing. So far just stuck with me revs!.
