I have a mission control damper (Lyrik forks) on which the high speed damping adjuster has apparently siezed. The LSC and Floodgate adjusters till work, and it seem to be damping the fork properly. Has anyone out there serviced/taken apart the damper or have any insight into what I can do to free the HSC adjuster?

You want this video from Rock Shox/Sram – how to service MC on Lyrik/Totem.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMN8sM5OHRg

Also this PDF from RS website – best to print + read before doing service.

    2010 – http://www.sram.com/_media/pdf/rockshox/dealers/TM_MY10.pdf
    2009 – http://www.sram.com/_media/pdf/rockshox/dealers/TM_MY09_E.pdf

Probably best to fit new O-rings also – take them to your nearest Hydaulic/engineering supplier.

Suspension oil also – 5WT for the Mission control 112ml
(2009 Lyriks except DFR version which is 145ml)

Oil for Lowers depends on the Lyrik model.

The PDF has alll this info in so best double check.

That video is great! However it only really shows the servicing of the rebound assembly. I think I'll need to disassemble the compression damper unit to locate the source of my particular issue.

mine was like that when I bought a set s/h, turned out that someone had just turned the adjuster too far at one of the extremes and it had jammed, gentle persuasion got it working fine again. Get yourself a pair of softfaced pliers from cromwell, makes the job a lot easier.

I'd play it safe + take the MC damper out.

Ok I got it, a bit of inner tube and pliers got it moving. Now I need to look into tuning. Can anyone tell me how many "clicks" of adjustment each high and low adjuster should have?

You need this guide to get started:-
