My e2 is getting past its best. Any recommendations for a helmet that looks ok on road (no peak) and off road? Posted 8 years ago don simonMember I use one of these, both on and off road and it comes with a peak. I also have a Met Parachute and a Bell which don't get used too often. Posted 8 years ago crazy-legsSubscriber Another vote for the Specialized 2D. I never bother removing the peak, Specialized peaks seem to work OK on the road bike too, no problems with vision. Posted 8 years ago KINGTUTMember Met inferno UL Posted 8 years ago owenfackrellMember I use the cheaper version of the spec one and find it fine for both i also don't remove the peak. Posted 8 years ago uponthedownsMember Just get another E2. Works for me on and off road. Posted 8 years ago TandemJeremyMember One that fits properly. Fit is the single most important aspect with helmets. Posted 8 years ago monkeychildMember I got a Giro hex from crc and I use it on the road as well as off. The adjustable peak is great and it has enough airflow for my bonce. Posted 8 years ago stuartie_cMember Giro Monza here for £60 (or you could go for Atmos or Ionos if you're feeling flush) Posted 8 years ago Viewing 11 posts - 1 through 11 (of 11 total) The topic ‘Road/MTB lid’ is closed to new replies.
