I think I have only just dried out and I have considerably more body fat than a professional cyclist. I have to say it was a great race and the fans in Harrogate showed some serious commitment.

There was a time when cycling fans road their bikes to events like this to stand at the side of the road, and would give their wheel to a needy rider.

There was a time when wheels were a lot cheaper, and less reliant on maxle, disk sizing etc…
