The ASA Council carefully considered the issue raised, but I’m afraid they concluded that the use of the term “zero road tax” in this context did not constitute a breach of the Advertising Codes.

I had a similar reply. Actually, now that I recall, konabunny had it when he said that viewers weren’t being “materially misled” as that’s what the ASA said in their email to me.
