    Nope they are spd pedals with flat cage.

    Thanks for starting this Renton,I think my seat is too high and that is why I ride on my gooch.

    I will try dropping it a little bit. I put a 90 stem on it from 110 which helped a lot, but it has made it twitchier, which isn’t a bad thing given the standards of the roads and driving here.

    Right so I’ve adjusted the saddle a bit further forward and will see how it goes. ….

    Here is it now fitted with sks chromoplastic guards for commuting duties.

    Can you get thinner bar tape by the way ?

    Fizik micro tape is very thin.

    Wothout seeing you on it, check that when riding on the hoods that there is a good bend in your elbows.

    Also do try and ride on the drops. They should be comfortable. Usual reason for not using them is too low and too far away. Hoods should feel just a little “too high”. But most riders seem to spend all their time on them.

    When the fit is right, you’ll know it. Trust me.
