Scaredypants, I was simply offering a couple of reasons why he might prefer to pay using PayPal gift that’s all.

I don’t like PayPal all that much, and never suggested It was in any way secure, like Hora says, cash is the best way.

And as the potential buyer has now said he can do cash, then everyone is happy.

I mean when I’ve been selling a car when a buyer says ‘when can I come’ I say asap!

Admittedly I’ve not had many no-show’s but thats because I’ve been brutally honest about the car on the phone before and price.

I suppose you know it was about ten hours after higgo had pointed out our errors (and I’d acknowledged it) that your blinding light of righteousness and clear-reading was shone upon the thread ?
(no offence, like – I still think you’re the best, so we can agree on that at least)

I’ll admit to reading the thread wrong last night but I still wouldn’t take PayPal gift for anything I’m selling and I’d only take ‘normal’ PayPal for something I can send fully tracked and signed for.
Cars should be bought with cash imo.

And only a bit more than 10 minutes since the most recent person gave some brilliant “advice”
