I first learned the name Nelson Mandela when I was 9 or 10, and my father explained to me why Glasgow had just changed the address of the South African Consulate to Nelson Mandela Place. That tickled me then, it still amuses me now.
If I could condense everything written above into a short pithy epithet to praise Mandela’s life and legacy I would. Unfortunately for me I’m not able to. I might show this thread in assembly tomorrow morning though.
