How does the Whippet ride? Frame quality ok?

I’ve only managed a shakedown ride so far, but first impressions are good. It’s lovely and light but I’m coming from a steel hardtail so it’s going to feel different.

Frame quality looked good to me, seemed well finished.

What size frame is it? It looks nice.

I don’t know but I’d be quite interested to find out myself. The frame, forks, bars and wheels are all light, but the other finishing kit is mid range stuff so that’s where weight gets added. I was trying to keep costs down.

It’s an XL. I’m right on the middle of L/XL so I gave it a lot of thought and went bigger in the end. Seems OK so far.

@colin9 unfortunately the forks are out of stock, although that will give me the time to see if I like a rigid bike.

I’m pretty sure it would, there is absolutely bags of space in there.

I haven’t a picture to hand, but those tyres are 2.3″.
