99% of my riding is Peak based so lots and lots of big rocks. I usually use Spesh Eskar controls which are ace on rock etc. Due to the nomad i am venturing more into the woods to piss about so need a tyre that is also good in mud. Is this a moon on a stick question?

Anyone use the spesh Hillbilly tyre?

Why not Spesh again with the Clutch SX?

At the moment I run Eskar on one bike and WTB tyres on t’other, I like my WTB Stout 2.3 for mud.. though some think they are too heavy, but they are no heavier than a Maxxis equivalent…

My Nomad has Schwalbe Hans Dampf 2.35s good all round(thats what the name means!) and just the right volumes plus tough sidewalls and can be used tubeless(they are an “Evo” tube/no tube tyre)..
