- Ridley X-Bow 2010/11 105 ten spd. Full service 50 cm (Medium – in most sizing)
Selling for a friend who has used this as her winter commuter bike. Not covered very many miles and still looks superb and runs really, really well.
Not used for any racing just set up as a perfect winter bike for someone!
AS IN THIS LINK
50 cm Ridley is a medium size in most manufacturer’s bikes. Just been riding it to test all is perfect for sale and it’s a really good fit for me at 5′ 9″. My friend is 5′ 7″ and has ridden it without issue so I would say 5′ 7″ – 5’10 would be the right size for this.
This is the Shimano 105 10 speed version which sold for around the £1000 mark.
Need for cash forces sale even though the bike has just been fully serviced ready for use this winter.
New gear cable and pads fitted only last week. Full service/clean and check over, including setting up gears, checking for chain wear, checking for bottom bracket play etc. (ALL JUST DONE).
The bike is running absolutely spot on. Wheels are true, hubs are smooth, chain is well within 0.75 tolerance. The frame is virtually mark free, the tyres are nearly new, brand new pads, lubed/set up and ready to ride.
There is the odd scuff from normal use as you would expect. Looks like she let it slide against a wall and scuffed up the bar tape a little but it’s a very solid, nice clean and tidy bike and needs nothing doing mechanically to it.
105 shifters brakes and gears.
SRAM/Truvativ Elita crankset 48/34 (excellent condition)
11-28 rear cassette (excellent condition)
Schwalbe Delta cruiser winter road tyres – with puncture protection & hi-viz reflective side strips (almost new)
Looking to get somewhere in the region of £500 but open to negotiate depending on pick up / postage / meeting / cash etc. West Yorkshire area. email in profile
Can send further pics if required. Let me know what you would like to see!!
