One this evening suffered a series case of ‘shed-suck’ and 30 minutes pocking round dusty, muddy corners turned up many things but not of them the curved bolt. I had to rob one off my other bike. Can i just buy a bolt or a pair of bolts from somewhere or is it going to be part of some stupid expensive kit.

Googling suggests something like a £12 bundle which is a bit irritating for one second of clumsiness followed by half an hour of swearing at ever increasing volumes 😉

Will ones off of a Thompson post work?

Not sure I’ve got a thomson post anymore. It’s similar if I remember rightly but might be too wide. I’ll ask the LBS on Monday anyway but just wondered if anyone knew. I’d still love to know where the blooming thing went too. I even convinced myself it had somehow leapt 4 feet vertically into a drawer. Having spent 10 minutes excavating said drawer, I was genuinely disappointed not to have found it 😉
