Will this kit work for bleeding a reverb seat post?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Avid-Juicy-5-7-Code-Elixir-Brake-Bleed-Kit-/190627683530?pt=UK_Spots_Leisure_Cycling_Tools_RepairKits&hash=item2c624b9cca

I’m aware that the post uses suspension oil rather than dot fluid so the kits can’t be shared. Just after advice as to whether this cheaper kit will do the job or if there’s anything else I need.

    Thanks

Reverse situation for me – I’ve got a reverb kit and was thinking of using it bleed my elixir’s. Look’s like they are transferable, but I’ve not tried yet. I have had to re-fill my reverb posts fluid, due to the cable connection to the seatpost breaking off (hint, dont use saddle bags) and it was a fairly simple job – found a good youtube instruction video.

It’ll work fine, you’ll need some 2.5wt oil though – so cheaper to buy the kit from eBay as a reverb kit – unless you want a litre of the stuff – which you really dont.
