It’s new retro sounds but I’m loving Send Me an Omen by the Magpie Salute.  Just pre ordered the album on vinyl.

I recently hit on Big Country again. Quite phenomenal how many outstanding tracks they put together, so many that it’s hard to choose just one.

Was listening to this on the Friday commute. Individual tracks are a bit dated but it works as an album.

Mini Sims seems to have become a big fan of the Police, so Mrs Sims got their greatest hits. I’m finding it quite agreeable in my middle age with some flash backs to the early 80s with them on the radio.

A bit OTT theatrical but brilliant none the less.

An excellent track off an underrated album.

Now vaguely wondering what “a completely OTT” (as opposed to a “a bit OTT”) video would be like 🙂

WTF are you on about? For one thing “OTT” means Over the Top. But I guess if you amuse yourself it’s all good.

Here’s my “retro” (old) music for today, something I listened to over the weekend, cos I found a vinyl album for £1 in a charity shop – and it is mint, not a pop or crackle anywhere. A rare thing. 🙂

I love the fact that it claims to be the original when in fact the whole album is just cover versions.

Edit; it’s Caramel, by Cluster. Dunno why linking only works sporadically for me, maybe it’s the forum, maybe it’s my browser.

My mate’s daughter made a decent covers album (in my view anyway):
