A mate has offered me his carbon frame (it is not very old – 18 months) at a good price. He got it raw and had it sprayed up and it is nice but he had his name, and worse still, an England flag sprayed on.

Name is on the top tube near the saddle but a sticker might not look very neat. The flag is on top of the top tube near the stem.

Anyway, can I just take it to a frame finisher and can he just spray over the whole lot or his getting paint off carbon difficult.

Can't see a problem with getting it resprayed, it has already been painted once from new after all, it's only like painting fibreglass/plastic and that's not a problem on cars, it would need to be prepared by hand and sprayed though as it wouldn't take to being sandblasted and powdercoated.
