Passed by a car on the way in that was blowing out clouds of black smoke. MOT oddly seems to expire in Nov 20.

Is there a way if reporting these?

    Sadly…

investigate complaints from the public but only those about heavy goods vehicles or buses and coaches.

Hopefully it’s smoking heavily due to being about to expire and solve the problem itself or it’s got the wrong fuel in it with pretty much the same result.

I’ve had a car fail in an epic way with a fresh MOT, just one of those things.

Alternatively he’s dumped in some fuel additive and cleaner and giving it an Italian tune up prior to his mot tomorrow

Too many cars get grannied around to get max mpg never clearing their throat and get nice and sooted up.

That would render it antisocial and potentially contravening the nuiscience rules of the mot if it’s that bad.

Skim of the DOT portal suggests the MoT expires in Nov 2020…
