  • Replacing a Float R with a RP23 BV 200, info required?

I have on my Marin East Peak 5.5 a Float R (has PP tune)2012 model so has a suspension design very similar to Giant/Trek/Spesh.

I am looking at getting a shock with lockout for climbs/out the saddle pedalling. I have looked at a well priced RP23 but it has a Boost Valve (no experience of those) which is set at 200psi. I weigh 92-94KG and run my current Float R at about 225-235 psi. Would the RP23 be suitable or should I be looking for a higher boost valve tune?

    Any info gratefully received.
