    Hello all,

Have searched for an answer but no joy so asking on here.

My rear Shimano SLX m675 caliper is donald ducked and direct replacements no longer available.

What in Shimanos current range would replace this caliper?

I don’t want to spend on new lever/hose etc and a higher spec is not required for the riding I do on this particular bike.

    Cheers

    any BH90 (Banjo) shimano caliper.
I draw the limit on cheap at non top loading but can’t think of any BH90 ones that are not.

I’ve just had the excact same dilemma for my lads bike….. Wiggle were selling SLX M7000 calipers for £22 per end with pads last week so I snapped them up….just make sure you get SLX or XT due to the banjo fitting.

Any Shimano, they’re all compatible. I usually nab an ebay bargain, or, in the sale bargains you can sometimes pick up an EU style with the “wrong” lever cheaper than a caliper. If the banjo fitting is different, just. replace hose as well.
