  • Repairing rims?

Looks like im going to need to purchase a second replacement rear rim for a Mavic SX wheel set, and although i admit im a bit hard on machinery iam still a little disappointed with resistance to damage. Thus with potentially two spare hoops to hand, which, generally are ok apart from the rim edges being very dinged in (will not hold air in tubeless configuration) I wondered if there was any one out there that repairs these things? or do I have to accept that these are now ornate dust collectors for my garage.

    Tah very much.

molegrips, pliers, hammer, drift, and try and shape the rim, other than that they are scrap. Or just run them tubed and not worry about the issue,.

I will have a go at that then.

Top tip is to run your tyres with a little more air in them.
