Go on then – what’s the secret besides acetone and picking it off? 🙂

Hexane is the best as it’s the base solvent in most modern tub glues. Acetone flashes off too quickly and is best left for cleaning the rim bed before gluing. So long as there aren’t great globs of glue I just go over the top with the fresh stuff.

Just use a half round file to get the high spots off then glue over the old, it’s better than a clean (no glue) rim if you want the tubs to stay stuck on.
