    Hi, I'm fine with square taper but no idea when it comes to the newer stuff. I've got the non-driveside off fine but am struggling with the driveside. I assume I should be using this:

    Which way should I be turning?

    Drive side crank is bonded to the axle. use a rubber mallet or similar to knock it out from the non drive side

    Assuming you're removing the BB, then driveside goes clockwise to loosen, may even tell you on the cup somewhere.

    Just bang it until it pops out. It's a tight fit.
