    Anyone got any suggestions?
He absolutely loves his remote control cars, but the inside of our house doesn’t, and he’s a very outdoors-y person.
Something that’s more than capable of clambering through fields and mud, maybe one of those ones that works both ways up?
Up to about 50 quid or so, battery powered. I’ll get him a Tamiya one when he’s older. Like, err, 5.
    The more weatherproof the better!

    Any recommendations welcome!

Edit: sorry, shouldn’t have been in bike related..

I got my son (when he was 5) a Maisto Rock Crawler 3XL. It goes up and over some impressive stuff, has been driven off the top of a 3′ high packing crate onto hard ground more times than I care to remember (part of his “assault course”), and although it isn’t billed as waterproof, seems impervious. We have a couple of streams and some swampy ground that it gets driven through regularly, it even floats on the huge tyres if the water is deep enough.
