- recommend me some decent quality sandals with toe protection box ..Keen?
tried a couple of keens which i liked… particularly this “Owyhee” but they’re £80 and I don’t know how durable . what else is out there that’s comfy/well made and stands up to long term regular use.Posted 3 years ago
seen a few others some cheaper in Go outdoors .
Any recommendations ?
Thanks in advance
My Keens have lasted really well. I only tend to wear them on ‘backpacking’ holidays but they’ve done many weeks continuous wear on those with no real signs of wear.
Not light, and the disadvantage of the toe box is stuff gets ‘in’ them in a way it doesn’t with more open sandals (and they’re not great in water) but stubbed toes were a fairly regular occurence with TevasPosted 3 years agounovoloMember
Another vote for Keen here, I like my Birkenstocks but wanted something more heavy duty and flexible for clambering about and longer walks and the Keens fitted the bill perfectly.
I believe sizing varies though, some models are true to size but I think others you may need to size up I’m sure it says on there website regards model sizing.
I have the ‘Newports’ like below but in black.Posted 3 years ago
Quick google shows Cotswold Outdoors has £20 off some of the Keen Sandals.Posted 3 years ago
