Looking for an aggressive 100mm Hardtail that runs on 26 inch wheels and it big enough to be used as a trail bike, jump bike and for general hooligan behaviour.

Basically I want to build something up from what’s lying around my garage – 100mm DJ1s, 26 wheels, brakes, cranks, etc. really all I need is a frame and the relevant headset & BB.

Preferably something cheap but fun. Alu or steel. Not to keen on the On-One 456 as I tried a 456 SS recently and it felt dull/lifeless.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I run a BFe with 100mm forks , it’s quite a bike its pimped and gets a lot of attention – it’s a trophy bike for sure – BUT it rides sweet and i run out of talent long before it runs out of bike .

I’d also say bfe or maybe even a Stanton DJ.

I’ve got a dialled holeshot frame, £60 collected from Gloucestershire.

Pipedream sirrius / scion totally worth a look

If you did go for on one I have a summer season frame you could have for a very low price…
