Old school: your Mum and a towel that she drops at the worst possible time.

Joking aside I’d have killed for any of these solutions when changing out of a sandy wetsuit next to Poole Harbour midwinter in the late 70s.

Is it wrong I have a dry robe & use it for changing after mountain biking?

To be honest, it’s that kind of thing mine gets used for the most. Not for changing, but just another quick layer to throw on I don’t care about.

Isnt that what its supposed to be for? Any sort of outdoor activity where you need to change from activity specific kit to normal clothes whilst in a public space and hence not scaring the hell out of the locals?
Or do you use it at home in which case that is very, very wrong.

Have a look at VX3 (https://vx-3.com/collections/duro-sports-robe) – mainly a rugby brand, if I needed to replace the DryRobe I’d be looking at theirs or Red.

I have a Dryrobe and a tow float. I thought being a cyclist made me a hated human being but it appears all my choices are just as bad.

I bet you have a #danglemug on your gravel bike too.

Oh no, I don’t. Looks like I’ll be shopping for one of those, thank you.

Have an old Tiki towelling poncho and a dryrobe. Almost never use the dryrobe as its so much easier to use the Tiki one.

    I have this:

It goes everywhere with me now – biking, swimming, walking. Doubles as a towel and changing robe and is super handy.

My partner has the DHB robe following a psa on here.

    It’s great, apparently.
