- Recommend me a recipe book suitable for athletes!
As the title sounds really. I enjoy healthy eating and I wouldn’t mind a book for inspiration on healthy eating. I’ve always wondered what professional atheletes eat, so I wouldn’t mind some suggestions!
Google shows a lot of books, so I wandered if anyone has any first hand experience and actually owns any and can recommend one!

The Grand Tour Cookbook is good, lots of interesting stuff there. For less cycling specific stuff but no less heathly, Lorraine Pascal’s book are really good and very simple too.Posted 4 years ago
The Grand Tour Cookbook has been getting some interesting buzz, and I will be checking it out once it is available in English.
It is now in English, I got mine direct from her website, took 2 days to deliver.Posted 4 years ago
+1 for the Feedzone CookbookPosted 4 years ago
Whoops, double postPosted 4 years ago
The Feedzone books are by the same people who are behind the nutrition brand Skratch Labs http://www.silverfish-uk.com/Brand/17262/Skratch-Labs so they have quite the history of athlete food prep.Posted 4 years ago
Only problem with the Skratch labs books are the mentions of Lance and his favourites. 😆Posted 4 years ago

The Grand Tour one looks ace!
I’ve just spent the last 30 mins going through some of her GCN videos. I particularly liked this one for the innovative use of a GoPro.

The feedzone people (or one of them) also worked with/for Lance. I like the portables book but suspect we’re not getting the “pro version” of the recipes 😆
The Grand Tour book looks interesting. I’m in need of cooking inspiration…Posted 4 years ago
**** me! the Grand Tour book appears to be £40 😯
is it *that* good???
EDIT: why does the swear filter take out the word beginning with “f” that Father Jack used? Surely the whole point of it is that it’s not the one that rhymes with duck?Posted 4 years ago
Pre-ordered the GTCB and it’s great. Had a few meals from it and all great. Hannah Grant had an offer on her Twitter feed of 20% off: GTCB15PETER. Runs out today.Posted 4 years ago
Grand Tour discount code seems to already be expired. Glad to know the book is now available though – will keep an eye out for another discount code.Posted 4 years ago
Bum! Think it was following Sagan’s Vuelta stage win, so maybe another could come.Posted 4 years ago
