Can anyone recommend a company in Lancashire pref. near Wigan/Bolton/Preston that can media blast the existing paint off an alu frame that I want to strip?

Was intending to keep it raw, so just somewhere that can blast it safely without damaging the frame really. Does that mean glass beads or walnut shells etc? Or any chemical stripping companies?

Never heard of them DiscJockey. Have you got first hand experience of them?

What are their prices like? Too much and I’ll be looking down the DIY nitromors (or whatever it is now) route

I did use them once (on recommendation) and was pleased, but I got them to strip and re-paint a steel racing frame. That was 10 years ago, and they were quite experienced then, so assuming it’s the same guy running it, he’s probably seen it all by now.
